“I want to talk about how to be in business. Not just a business competing, but crushing competition by 2025.” – Vince Delmonte

This morning I woke early to work on a conference presentation I’ll be delivering on Saturday.

After a quick breakfast with the family at 8am, we enjoyed a 45 minute walk to the Boston aquarium, saw some seals, and said goodbye. Alison and Calvin are enjoying the aquarium and I’m in the cafe writing this to you. It’s such a blessing to be able to explore different cities and be with my family while still getting work done wherever I can.

On that note, I’ve got to finish my presentation. It’s for CSEP – a Canadian not-for-profit certification company. Like NSCA and ACSM in the USA, I’m honoured to be one of the first business speakers that they are bringing in for their big conference.

So today I want to share a recent podcast episode recorded in-person at fitness marketer and business coach Vince Delmonte’s house.

In 45 minutes Vince did a great job pulling details out of me. In this episode we talk about:

  • Developing an audience eager to buy,
  • Two essential pieces to providing remarkable customer service, and
  • Why my approach to marketing continues to be the only one that’s immune to changes in social media that are out of your control.
